Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) are responsible for providing compassionate support and supervision to clients and ensuring that a safe environment is maintained within the treatment setting.
BHTs supervise and provide support to clients during all therapeutic opportunities; supervise and lead milieu activities (as appropriate); transport and supervise clients on outings; and provide skills coaching when appropriate.
BHTs are responsible for communicating with the clinical team regarding client needs and behaviors, and maintaining clinical documentation as needed.
